Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This restaurant has some of the best Italian food we have ever tasted!! The entrées are very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. We love the knots, they are like a little bread knot soaked in garlic and olive oil--best garlic bread we've ever tasted! We ordered the veal scallopini and veal marsala, which comes with the knots, salad and a side of pasta!! Veal was tender and delicious and the sauces were out of this world!! The atmosphere is like being in Little Italy and the service was excellent!! The next time we come to this area we will definitely come back to this wonderful restaurant!!

First time here, and I have mixed feelings. Pros: taste of the food was good, though I didn't find it extraordinary as other reviewers hinted; portion size was appropriate; we liked the decor of the dining room; waitress was very friendly and provided good service; food arrived in timely manner Cons: table was sticky; excessive amount of sauce on my tortelinni made me feel like I had soup (the sauce literally covered the pasta so I couldn't see the actual food) and for me this is a big negative-- I want the sauce to flavor my pasta... I don't want to drink it As other reviewers have said the garlic knots were excellent! All in all, I would return here but ask for my meal to be light on the sauce.

We brought a bag of Daiya mozzarella, and they put it on the pizza. Tasted wonderful. Such good dough. Very nice of them, and great all around service.

Ben Romano by far makes the best pizza we have ever had. This includes NJ NY and Philadelphia. They have a great wait staff and the atmosphere is Little Italy! Try and you definitely will not be disappointed. I guarantee.

I had there homemade garlic knots , piping hot and dipped in olive oil. They served marinara sauce fresh with pasta choices such as bowtie and zitti. Great chicken marsala, meatballs, and chicken scallopini. +homemade italian food, i think the chef is from Italy too. +clean restroom +good for large group +friendly staff

Classy joint, great food. I like the sit-down environment with the stylish Italian decor. The food is very good. I love their pizza and salads. The garlic knots are incredible. Just a top notch place. Service can be a little slow.

Visited back home this past week and was supremely surprised at this gem. I remember when it used to be a smoky country bar with pool tables and an air hockey table...Gee, wish I could remember the name of it back then, But now...WOW...New blood has come in and given this place LIFE. New Italian style decor, and it's an actual sit down restaurant, and a NICE one at that. Wine selection is fantastic. I had the Lambrusco and was giddy as a school girl. Fresh garlic knots graced the table along with our appetizer of antipasta. If I had known how large the portions would be I would have ordered less. I ordered the Pasta Aioli for my main dish and it was Delish ! Lots of garlic, enough to keep those pesky backwoods vamps away. I felt safe driving home alone in the dark. :) Totally looking forward to visiting back home again and dining at this awesome restaurant.

Really good food, huge portions, and reasonably priced. The only drawback: the kitchen is very slow and average wait time is at least 30 minutes. Eat something before you go because if you're hungry when you get there you'll be hypoglycemic by the time your food is served.
